Biography:
Aka: Joey Renada, Stevan St. Croix.
One of the busiest 90's hardcore studs, Steven's a dark-skinned young hunk who has turned up in almost 300 features since his 1992 debut. He brings a brooding and undeniably sexual aura to each role, coming across as a hardcore Ray Liotta who enjoys a bit more success with the ladies. Steven's somewhat hard surface can obscure the fact that he's one of the most charming and disarming male performers in the business. Don't worry, though, his female costars agree that he's one of their favorite partners in all of porn. Steven's talents don't end at the bedroom door, either. He's one of the best actors on the scene, turning in great performances in dark character roles that give him a chance to explore the different facets of his personality. His skills have often been recognized by the industry, and he's won the 1994 AVN Best Actor Award for his work in the steamy detective story 'Chinatown.' Steven's work in 'Forever Young' got him the 1995 AVN Best Supporting Actor nod. Some of his other award-winning sex scenes can be found in 'Blaze Of Glory' . Steven become the first male performer to be signed to an exclusive deal when a penned a deal with Vivid Video in 1997. Steven capped off his meteoric rise to the top of the porno scene with an AVN Best Actor - Film Award for his wanton work in Vivid's 'Bad Wives.' He left the industry soon afterwards, apparantly deciding that he'd pretty much done it all in hardcore. He's currently residing in the 'former porn star' category and trying to land parts in mainstream Hollywood features. Most recently Steve began negotiations to produce a gonzo series for Ultimate Pictures called 'Ultimate Penetration' and has began also to direct and produce features for his newly formed production company St. Croix Films. We wish him the best of luck in his new careers, but if any of them don't pan out there will always be a place for him in the skin biz.
